NCCS-Pune Project Training 2021 Biological Sciences – Applications Invited

Project Training Programme during the period:
From January – 2021 to June – 2021 (SIX MONTHS) OR
January – 2021 to December – 2021 (ONE YEAR) session

NCCS invites applications from the eligible Indian National candidates with following Qualifications to undertake Project Training as a part of the dissertation work/course curriculum at the Institute.

  • Students who are in the final year of the B.Tech., B. Pharm or Integrated M.Sc.
    M.B.B.S., M.D. and are interested in pursuing research in Biological Sciences.
  • The students that are pursuing M. Sc., M. Pharm, M. Tech. and are in the final year of the degree.
  • The M.B.B.S., M.D. qualified applicants who are interested in translational clinical research.

Students who have completed or will be completing their post-graduation prior to the training session starts (except M.B.B.S., M.D.) aren’t eligible.

Candidates can submit their application in the prescribed format available on NCCS site Together with copies of the following documents:

  1. Proof of Date of birth.
  2. All Bachelor’s degree mark sheets & recent last Semester mark sheet.
  3. A certificate from the Head of the Department/ Principal of College/ University/ Educational Institute in the prescribed format * attached as Annexure –A (see below) on the Letter Head.

Note:

  1. The complete application form together with all the above documents can be sent
    by email to internship@nccs.res.in (One PDF file containing application in
    prescribed format together with certifications) for project training at NCCS on or
    before 17.11.2020.
  2. Kindly mention Application for Project Training in the subject of the e-mail.
  3. Head of the Departments is asked to forward a max of 2 applications only from their departments. The student needs to mention the e-mail id of Head of Department/ Principal of College/ University/ Educational Institute, in their application. The recommendation email ought to be directly sent to NCCS from Head of Departments of their College/ University/ Institutes. It is mentioned for information that if we do not receive the e-mail from HOD’s, the application will not be taken into consideration.
  4. NCCS will not provide any stipend or Hostel accommodation and will certainly not charge any type of fees for Project Training.
  5. Applicants willing to undergo the project training for a minimum period of 5 OR 10 months (during their post-graduation) for this session can apply. Students planning to undergo training for less than 5 OR 10 months must not apply. This is a full-time training program, and also part-time students will not be entertained.
  6. Applications received without Annexure – A will not be considered for selection.
    This clause does not apply for MBBS & MD qualified applicants.
  7. The list of chosen applicants will certainly be published on the NCCS website by
    25.11.2020.
