UoH Plant Biochemistry/Molecular Biology RA/PA Openings



 Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Indian Nationals only) on a plain paper or in the attached format (Form B) for the following position(s) in the research projects “DBT Project on “Manipulation of light signaling components for improvement of tomato fruit quality” and SERB project on “Genome editing of staygreen gene to enhance carotenoid content in tomato fruits” 


Research Associate (RA) and Project Assistant (PA) 

Fellowship / Honorarium/ Stipend in Rs. For RA-Rs. 36,000/- Rs pm (Pre-revised); for PA-Rs. 20,000/-pm consolidated 4 HRA, if applicable For RA-30% HRA (Pre-revised) 

Tenure of the Post For RA-Till 28/6/2021 and for PA-till 10/06/2023 

Essential Qualifications For RA-PhD Degree in Plant Biochemistry or Plant Molecular Biology; for PA-Master`s in any branch of Life Sciences with experience and interest in Plant Molecular biology, Biochemistry

Desirable Qualifications For RA-Research experience in Plant Proteomics, handling Mass spectrometers, protein-protein interactions. For PA- basic molecular biology, biochemistry and experience in handling plants 

Experience Should be supported by Research Publications 

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test / skill test or at the time of joining.
